An indie-rock band with more than 5 million monthly listeners on Spotify is bringing their hits to Columbus in September.
The Backseat Lovers will play at Newport Music Hall, 1722 N. High St., on Sept. 14.
Joshua Harmon, Jonas Swanson, KJ Ward and Juice Welch formed The Backseat Lovers in Salt Lake City in 2018. They’ve garnered more than 800 million global streams in that time and toured across North America, Europe and Australia in 2023.
The Backseat Lovers will bring new music to their Columbus show on Sept. 14.
The band will play new music at the Columbus show, as well as songs from their first two albums, “When We Were Friends” and “Waiting to Spill.”
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Aug. 8 and can be purchased at promowestlive.com.
