Kosovo-Serbia tensions, British envoy after Kurti speaks on the phone with Vučić

Dame Karen Pierce, the United Kingdom’s envoy for the Western Balkans, after speaking on the phone with the acting Prime Minister of the Republic of Kosovo, Albin Kurti – did the same with the President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić.
The British Embassy in Serbia has revealed the content of the conversation, which reportedly discussed concerns about recent tensions between Kosovo and Serbia.
The need for solutions to all issues through dialogue facilitated by the European Union was also mentioned.
“Dame Karen Pierce, Special Envoy for the Western Balkans, spoke yesterday with Serbian President Vučić to discuss her concerns regarding the recent tensions between Serbia and Kosovo and the need to resolve outstanding issues through the EU-facilitated Dialogue,” the statement said.
