According to the report of the North Macedonian National Electricity Market Operator (MEMO), a total of 135,072.8 megawatt-hours (MWh) of electricity was traded on the day-ahead market of the Macedonian power exchange in July, at an average price of 103.19 euros per MWh, setting a new monthly trading volume record on the day-ahead market.
The previous monthly record was set in January 2025, when 130,168 MWh of electricity were traded at an average price of 143.29 euros per MWh.
The daily average volume of the day-ahead market in July was 4,357.2 MWh.
During the daily peak, from 09:00 to 20:00, 2,866.4 MWh of electricity were traded at an average price of 85.8 euros per MWh.
