    Game No. 1 vs. Iceland: Tilda Trygger earned the start and led Sweden with 18 points in 21 minutes of action on 5-of-13 shooting from the field while going 7-of-9 at the free throw line.  

    Sweden opened up Group Play 1-0 with the 92-76 win.

    Game No. 2 vs. Latvia: Tilda Trygger once again got the start at center but wasn’t asked to do as much, finishing with five points, three assists, and two rebounds in 19 minutes.

    Sweden overcame a double-digit deficit to improve to 2-0 in Group Play with the 80-74 win. 

    The team was led by Alabama freshman forward Lourdes Da Silva Costa who totaled 36 points and 16 rebounds in 34 minutes.

    Game No. 3 vs. Turkey: Sweden (2-1) was unable to win the third game, losing to Turkey, 75-67.

    Trygger was effective in the win, posting her first double-double of the tournament with 16 points and 15 rebounds.

    Game No. 4 vs. Poland: Trygger was terrific, leading Sweden to the win with 31 points and nine rebounds.  

    Sweden advanced with the win.

    Game No. 5 vs. Belgium: Sweden defeated Belgium in large part due to Trygger’s play.  She finished with a double-double on just 4-of-5 shooting from the field and also hit the game-winner, an offensive putback inside of 10 seconds left.

    Trygger also had a game-sealing block on the next possession to secure the win.

    Sweden has advanced to the semifinals for the first time ever and will face Lithuania Saturday at 1pm.  The game can be watched here:
