Soldiers from the US Armed Forces Medical and Maneuver Battalion, assigned to the NATO KFOR Regional Command East, in cooperation with the Kosovo Police, conducted a five-day Combat Life Saving training course at Camp Belvedere in Kosovo.

According to the Facebook announcement, such training initiatives increase tactical medical readiness and strengthen professional relationships between NATO forces and local security institutions — a key factor in building long-term security and stability in the region.

“KFOR continues to implement its mandate — based on UN Security Council Resolution 1244 of 1999 — to contribute to the creation of a safe and secure environment for all residents and communities living in Kosovo, as well as to guarantee freedom of movement at all times and in an impartial manner. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and the European Union Rule of Law Mission in Kosovo (EULEX) in their respective roles as responsible for security,” the post reads.
