New generation of customs officers graduates on the 26th anniversary of Kosovo Customs

The generation of customs officers graduated at the ceremony organized to mark the 26th anniversary of the establishment of Kosovo Customs, which is being held in the “1 Tetori” hall in Pristina.
Acting Prime Minister Albin Kurti congratulated the customs cadets on their graduation.
“I congratulate the employees of Kosovo Customs for their work results as one of the key institutions of Kosovo, as well as their work with integrity and professionalism.”
“I also thank the international partners for building the Kosovo Customs institution,” Kurti said, EO reports.
Meanwhile, Minister of Finance Hekuran Murati described the graduation of customs cadets as a moment of pride for putting themselves in the service of the country.
“There is nothing nobler than serving one’s country,” he said.
Murati said that revenues have increased without changing tax policies.
“The return of terminals to state ownership has eased the financial costs of businesses.”
“The Port of Durres has also facilitated the movement of goods,” he said.
The Director of Kosovo Customs, Agron Llugaliu, highlighted aspects of the work of this institution and its achievements, expressing gratitude to the employees of this institution for working with integrity.
