Hey dog people! 🐶
I just released Psiapka – a simple app I made with dog walks in mind.
The idea came from my own pup, "Garlic" (Garlic in Polish), who’s reactive and sometimes not in the mood for socializing. I wanted something to help:
– find companions for parallel walks,
– avoid unwanted encounters,
– and just manage daily dog life a bit better.
What can you do in Psiapka?
🐾 Set your dog’s “walk mood” – open to contact, neutral, not in the mood, or go full “invisible”
📍See other dog owners nearby (if they’re out walking too)
🐕 Create a profile for your dog and browse others in your area
🗺️ Track your walks and generate shareable walk reports
📢 Post announcements or info for the local dog community
It’s still an early version, so there’s a lot more I want to build – but I’d really love to know if something like this could be useful to others!

Is it region locked? I’m in Poland yet seeing “This item isn’t available in your country” on Google Play
I installed it, gave my email to create an account, and the app crashed immediately saying that there is some sort of update and cannot be opened.
Believe it or not, I’ve been writing the exact same app (I mean with the “dog dates” intent). I gave up at some point because of the lack of time, but am glad to see someone else actually did it. All the best with the further development and expansion!
