Australia and New Zealand are making a grand return to the World Travel Market (WTM) London in 2025 with a significantly larger and more dynamic delegation, signaling a renewed sense of optimism for the global tourism industry. After a challenging period marked by global disruptions, both countries are now embracing an opportunity to reconnect with international markets, showcasing their resilience and commitment to reinvigorating tourism. With a focus on sustainable travel, innovative tourism offerings, and cross-border collaborations, their enhanced presence is set to strengthen partnerships and inspire growth in the global tourism landscape.

World Travel Market London (WTM London) is excited to host a major delegation from Australia and New Zealand for this year’s event, which will take place from Tuesday, November 4th to Thursday, November 6th, 2025. The Australian Tourism Export Council (ATEC) stand, featuring over 30 partners, will serve as a comprehensive showcase for those eager to explore a range of exceptional travel experiences in the region.

A larger Australasian delegation will return to WTM London in 2025, reflecting the region’s revitalized energy and optimism. Strong demand from buyers and visitors to reconnect with both Australia and New Zealand has led WTM and ATEC to expand their presence at the event.

The ATEC stand, located at N9-510, will feature a diverse array of exhibitors, including airlines, accommodations, and tour operators, offering one of the region’s most robust line-ups in recent years. Major names in the industry will include Qantas, Australia’s flagship carrier, and Singapore Airlines, globally recognized for its excellence.

Accommodation options will cater to a range of budgets, with YHA Australia and Hotel Grand Chancellor representing accessible stays, while luxury options will include the sustainable Oceanview Eco Villas on Kangaroo Island, the Barossa Shiraz Estate, and the Finniss River Lodge nestled in the Northern Territory’s floodplains. Rawnsley Park Station, located in the ancient Flinders Ranges, is also among the region’s standout accommodations.

For luxury ground transportation, buyers can meet with Marquee Limousines and InStyle Chauffeured Limousines, both offering tailored services for high-end travelers. Those seeking the ultimate in luxury travel can explore Bill Peach Journeys’ ‘Aircruising,’ which utilizes private aircraft to showcase Australia’s breathtaking regions.

Australia and New Zealand are renowned for their thrilling adventure and wildlife experiences, which will be highlighted at the event. Featured participants include Earth Adventure and PureSA, both offering exciting soft adventure experiences in South Australia; Hartley’s Crocodile Adventures, famous for its interactive animal encounters; Kangaroo Island Touring Company, providing exclusive tours through wildlife-rich areas; and Untamed Escapes, offering tours that blend adventure, food, culture, and wellness across South Australia, Western Australia, and the Red Centre. Sydney’s iconic experiences like the BridgeClimb, Sydney Harbour Boat Tours, and Taronga Zoo will also be showcased.

Additionally, ATEC’s team of expert inbound tour operators and DMCs will be present to assist in crafting unforgettable travel itineraries across Australia, New Zealand, Fiji, and beyond. The event will also feature valuable local insights from various travel companies, including Australia and Worldwide Travel, Advance Olympic Travel, ANZCRO, Southern World, 39 Degrees South, Travel Time South Pacific, GMTC, ANZ Global Travel, Social Nature Movement, New Zealand Fine Touring/NZ Sidekick, The Green Spot, and Terra Nova Tours.

This enhanced presence signals a renewed optimism for the global tourism sector, as both nations aim to showcase their resilience, innovative tourism offerings, and commitment to sustainable travel.

Australia and New Zealand are among the world’s most well-loved and aspirational destinations, known for their unique and natural attractions, deep cultural heritage and experiential travel opportunities. I’m positive show visitors will relish the opportunity to speak to varied destination experts in one place to help them build personalised itineraries for every client.”

Peter Shelley, Managing Director of Australian Tourism Export Council commented: “WTM London is the perfect place to nurture valuable connections in our core source markets. With the buzz around the 2025/6 Ashes series from this November, it’s also a key time to harness interest in travel Down Under.
