The National Environmental Action Network, a renowned non-profit organization created by Millionaire Philanthropists and Environmental Activists Lewis Ross Brown, DSc, and Shamira A. Brown, PhD, has officially set up virtual office in the Greater Savannah and surrounding areas. This organization, created originally in the deep Southern City of New Orleans in Louisiana, serves to do many functions. At present, this organization is designed to do a variety of Environmental Health and Safety and Sustainability actions. In the Greater Savannah and surrounding areas, the National Environmental Action Network, under the guidance of renowned Environmental Toxicologist and Health Research Lewis Ross Brown, DSc, has a water and air sampling program. This program is used to gather and test water samples and air samples from various stations for the presence of organic chemical pollutants (PFAS, PCBs, Volatile Organic Chemicals, selective petroleum oils, and selective insecticides and herbicides), inorganic metals, and algae. The results of these tests will be made available to the public virtually during seminars and meetings on MST & Google meets.

Under the guidance and astute leadership of Shamira A. Brown, PhD., this organization has begun to reactive the “Meals On Wheels” program for those in need of food assistance through a cooperative grant and endowment program funded by several Billionaire benefactors across the global. This program will serve all in need who reside in the Greater Savannah and surrounding areas.

Furthermore, this organization has setup virtual tutorials for high school and college students in the following areas: Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, History, Computer science, Economics and Creative Writing.

The tutorial sessions will be held on MST and Google meets and are free.

The National Environmental Action Network has also set up a virtual Grant-writing and RFP writing course (9-16-weeks) for anyone interested in learning more about writing fundable grants and endowments as well as answering RFPs.

Shamira A. Brown, PhD will be teaching this virtual course. In addition to this, she is working on a bioethanol extraction project in which she extracts bioethanol from Red algae and Cyanobacteria. This bioethanol can be converted to ethanol fuel used in automobiles and trucks. This project will serve to substantially lower gas prices across the United States once this fuel is properly marketed for use.
