Let him sit out a year until he is 18, and then off back to Ukraine. If he is so eager to do such things, he should be eager to defend his homeland on the frontlines too.

Just sent him back to native country.

Just one? At first they claimed that two were arrested.

Well well, seems I was right once again. But to the matter at hand, deport him.

He may serve life in prison polish authorities say.

People saying a 17yo teenager should be sent to the frontlines (essentially a death sentence aside from him not even being an adult) simply for defacing a monument are downright despicable.

Send all Ukrainian men in Poland to the front where they belong fighting for there country .

Put him in jail and deport him when he is 18 years old. If you misunderstood what being a guest means and do not respect the country that is hosting you, you should learn it with a hard way. Being sorry should not save your ass.

The only deportation in such cases that should be acceptable is deportation coupled with the maximum-length ban on entering the EU for promoting ideology that is banned in Poland ( and in Germany too for example ).
Ukraine as a state will not do a single thing to that turd if he’s deported there, he’ll likely be out of prison next day after he lands in the country.

Please don’t take in some bad faith way, but isn’t weird for poles that they have Bandera as a national hero? Coming from a Lemko Slovak, who’s family fled Poland because of the Operation Wisla cleansing of Lemkos and resettlement (and for the love of god no Lemkos weren’t supporting UPA, our villages got raided by them after WW2 even on the Slovak side, but I understand why polish authorities did what they deemed necessary.)
For example, here it would be unacceptable to talk about Tiso (also a nazi collaborator like Bandera) in even a neutral tone, there should be no tolerance towards these kinds of figures.
Anyways, just wanted to ask about your opinion, since there is always once a month some Ukrainian flying UPA flag on a concert or something in the same nature.
(P.S. no hate to Ukrainians, most of them are chill, but there are some that should get golden metal in mental gymnastics: it didn’t happen, but they deserved it kind of thinking.)
