Bosnia and Herzegovina continued their strong form in Oostende with a convincing 73–60 victory over host nation Belgium, following their win against Great Britain the day before.
Notably absent from the Bosnian lineup was star guard Dzanan Musa, who is still recovering from surgery. His availability for EuroBasket remains uncertain and is a major concern for the team.
In front of a packed crowd, both teams approached the game with intensity, knowing it was one of the final tests before EuroBasket. The opening quarter was a tight battle, ending in a 15–15 stalemate.
The Bosnian squad stepped up in the second quarter, tightening their defense and finding rhythm on offense. A pair of scoring runs helped them build a 12-point halftime lead (44–32).
Historically prone to third-quarter slumps, Bosnia once again struggled after the break, allowing Belgium to slowly chip away at the deficit. The home side managed to narrow the gap to just six points, threatening a comeback.
However, coach Adis Beciragic’s team responded with a strong finish, regaining control and closing out the match confidently.
Amar Alibegovic led all scorers with 21 points, while NBA center Jusuf Nurkic added 15. For Belgium, Hans Vanwijn contributed 12 points in a losing effort.
