German Parliamentary Secretary: Germany expects a stable government in Kosovo

The Parliamentary State Secretary at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development of Germany, Johann Saathoff, stated on Friday at a press conference in Prizren that for Germany it is essential that Kosovo has a stable government and reliable partners for cooperation, reports Ekonomia Online.
“Regarding the situation of government formation in Kosovo, I can only say that for us as the Federal Republic of Germany it is important to cooperate with a partner in stability. That is, for us it is also important to have reliable interlocutors. In the joint accompaniment of the path towards the European Union it is definitely important to create a reliable government, with which we can cooperate in partnership and continue our work together. There will still be some challenges in the future, which we want to face together,” he said.
German Parliamentary Secretary, Johann Saathoff, held a press conference in Prizren, where earlier in the day he visited the Innovation and Training Park in this city.
His visit is taking place within the framework of German support for development initiatives in the country, reports Ekonomia Online.
The German Embassy in Pristina has announced that during his stay in Kosovo, Saathoff will hold meetings with government representatives and visit projects supported by the German Government.
According to the embassy’s announcement, this visit underscores Germany’s continued commitment to promoting inclusive economic growth and bilateral cooperation.
