CLOVIS, Calif. (FOX26) — Clovis Unified School District is implementing new safety measures at high school football games held at Lamonica and Veteran’s Memorial stadiums.
Starting in the 2025 football season, Evolv Express security screening stations will be installed at stadium entrances.
These stations will provide quick, contactless safety screenings for attendees and their bags.
The new screening technology, similar to systems used at professional event venues and sports arenas nationwide, will complement existing safety protocols.

The aim is to enhance security without causing significant delays for those entering the stadiums.
Attendees will pass through walk-through stations equipped with modern sensor technology designed to identify potential safety threats while distinguishing them from common everyday items.
If attendees are found with prohibited items, they will be asked to return them to their vehicles or face confiscation.
Prohibited items include pocket knives, firearms (even those with a concealed weapons permit), ammunition, and any other type of weapon.
