Osmani: Kosovo ready to join the EU

President Vjosa Osmani, in an interview with the Polish broadcaster TVP World in Alpbach, said that Kosovo is in line with the European Union, and that our country is 97/100 percent ready to join the EU.
As for the political issues of Kosovo joining the EU, Osmani says that here our country faces more trouble, as there are still five EU states that do not recognize Kosovo.
“There are many people who are frustrated, but we do not lose patience, on the contrary, we will work harder,” the country’s first lady continued.
She adds that the criteria for joining the EU are not the same for all countries, mentioning neighboring Serbia, which has not sanctioned Russia in its war against Ukraine, and which, according to Osman, the Serbian state is also an aggressive state.
Osmani also spoke about the moves that Russia is making, where according to her, this country seeks to destabilize the Western Balkans.
Further, she said that it is not at all easy for Kosovo to have a cruel neighbor who seeks to destabilize the region.
Although she adds that Kosovo is an extremely safe country, despite the risks imposed on it.
