A Windsor-based engineering, consulting and construction management firm has purchased an Oregon company that specializes in helping businesses and utilities reduce energy use.
TRC Companies Inc. said it has acquired Strategic Energy Group, which develops energy management programs aimed at cutting costs and lowering emissions. SEG said it has worked with more than 1,000 commercial sites and factories across North America, embedding efficiency practices into daily operations.
TRC said the deal broadens its energy services portfolio as companies face rising demand to meet sustainability and climate goals. TRC employs more than 8,000 people and is ranked among the country’s top design and engineering firms.
Its Windsor headquarters is located at 21 Griffin Road North. It also has an office in Milford as well as locations across the country, according to its website.
