Borrell: Europe recognizes Bujar Osmani as a leader who has brought results

The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, and former Vice-President of the European Commission, Josep Borrell, through a video message highly praised the candidate of the National Alliance for Integration for the Municipality of Chair, Bujar Osmani.
Addressing the residents of Chair, Borrell stressed that he is very pleased to have had the opportunity to cooperate with Osmani.
“It is a great pleasure for me to speak about a man with whom I have worked closely for many years. As Foreign Minister of North Macedonia and as Chairman of the OSCE, he showed leadership, vision and deep commitment to dialogue and cooperation,” said Borrell.
In his message, Borrell emphasizes that he was particularly impressed by former Foreign Minister Osmani’s ability to listen, build bridges, and find solutions. Qualities that, according to him, are key not only in diplomacy, but also in local governance.
“I know how much he believes in implementing Europe’s promises at the local level. His experience with European institutions will help the Chair benefit from European funds and opportunities, for better infrastructure, a better quality education system, more jobs and better services,” Borrell stressed.
He recalled that Europe recognizes Osman as an achieving leader.
“I believe that the residents of Çair will recognize him as a mayor who listens, who unites and who brings progress to every resident. He raised the voice of his people on the international stage. Now you are ready to bring the same commitment to the streets and neighborhoods of Çair. Greetings from Santander and I wish you much success in this important mission,” Borrell concluded.
