PUNXSUTAWNEY — A summertime tradition had its grand finale last night when Music in the Park welcomed the Moore Brothers to Barclay Square on a rainy Thursday.
Ron Walker, Music in the Park committee member along with his wife, Sue, said this is why we do this, for the community, and the large crowd wasn’t dampened by the rain.
“There isn’t much to do throughout the year especially the summer, but these nine Thursdays in the summer, a large number of people grab their lawn chairs and head to the park for some really great musical entertainment; last night, it was the Moore Brothers band which is a crowd favorite,” Walker said. “The people really enjoy the fellowship, the music and the food trucks.”
