Officials of Bosnia and Herzegovina’s entity, Republika Srpska, still treat Milorad Dodik, the former president of RS, as president, and in line with these illegal actions are also preparing the next steps.
A referendum has been announced for October 25, in which the citizens of RS will be asked whether they accept the verdict against Dodik and whether they accept the decisions imposed by the High Representative in Bosnia and Herzegovina, Christian Schmidt.
In addition, other steps are being announced, such as a referendum on self-determination, and this is part of the overall strategy of the current government in RS.

All this will enable Dodik to continue to be in the center of political attention, even though his mandate has been taken away and he legally has no competence, reports klix.ba.
In this regard, the RS Police Minister, Sinisa Karan, who is one of Dodik’s closest associates, declares that the people in this entity have already decided for self-determination and that it is only a matter of time. Of course, according to current practice, this moment can be postponed indefinitely.
“The Serbian people are no one’s vassal. We created the Republika Srpska on the basis of the universal right of peoples to self-determination, we defended it with blood and preserved it in peace. Accepted as a party during the negotiations in Geneva and New York, and then in Dayton, the Republika Srpska has been internationally verified and no one can take that away from us,” he said.
“It is precisely the will of the people and the (internal) sovereignty of the Republika Srpska within the state community of Bosnia and Herzegovina, based on international law, that gives us the strength to clearly declare: the issue of self-determination of the Republika Srpska is no longer a decision to be made, because the Serbian people have already decided. It is only a matter of time before this decision will be implemented in full capacity,” Karan concluded. /Telegraph/
