The Hungarian section of a planned oil pipeline from Hungary to Serbia will be completed by the end of 2027, Hungarian foreign minister Peter Szijjarto said after meeting Serbia’s energy minister on Monday.
Szijjarto also said in a statement that Hungary has imported some 5 billion cubic meters of natural gas via the Turkstream pipeline via Serbia by the end of August, which means this year’s gas imports via Turkstream could hit a record high amount.
