Former Deputy Prime Minister of Kosovo, Edita Tahiri, welcomed the statement by Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković at the Bled Forum, who criticized the European Union for its silence on the attack in Banjska.

Tahiri emphasized that, although Kosovo was attacked and punished, Albin Kurti’s government chose to remain silent.

She recalled that the Kosovo-Croatia strategic alliance was established during her visit to Croatia in 2012, when she held the position of Deputy Prime Minister for National Security and Foreign Policy, together with former Croatian Foreign Minister Vesna Pusić.

“I highly appreciate the statement of Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic at the Bled Forum, who criticized the EU for its silence on the attack in Banjske – while the Kurti government itself has remained silent, although Kosovo was both attacked and punished – the Kosovo-Croatia strategic alliance that we had established together with Croatian Foreign Minister Vesna Pusic during my visit to Croatia in 2012, in my capacity as Deputy Prime Minister for National Security and Foreign Policy,” Tahiri wrote.
