Kosovo Police has announced that in the next three days, on September 4, 5 and 6, Kosovo’s main roads will be closed to traffic for a period of time, due to the international cycling competition “Tour of Kosovo 2025”.
The traffic closure will apply to these roads and during these time intervals:
· First stage, on 04.09.2025 from 12:00 to 15:00 – The start of the race begins on the Veternik – Bresje – Komoran – Gjergjicë – Malishevë – Duhël – Suhareka – Prizren North – Prizren South – Vërmicë (return) – Prizren South – Prizren North – Suhareka – Duhël – Malishevë – and then will continue until the finish at the Malishevë exit of the highway at the 52nd kilometer.
· Second stage, on 05.09.2025 from 11:00 to 15:00 – The start of the race begins at the Border Point in Vërmicë – Prizren South – Prizren North – Suhareka – Duhël – Malishevë – Gjergjicë – Komoran – Fushë Kosovë – Uglare – Lipjan – Babush – Bibaj – Kaçanik – Hani i Elezit – where the race will end.
· Third stage, on 06.09.2025 from 11:00 to 15:00 – The race starts from Hani i Elezit – Kaçanik – Bibaj – Babush – Lipjan – Uglare – Bresje – Sllatine – Komaran – Gjergjice – Malishevë – Duhël – Suhareka – Prizren North – Prizren South – Zhur – Vërmicë (return) – Prizren South – the race ends at the 10th kilometer of the highway in Vlashnje where the closing ceremony of the XNUMXrd stage will take place.
The police have asked for citizens’ understanding and for drivers to use alternative routes.
