The Kosovo Police Task Force DRK-East unit has encountered a vehicle suspected of smuggling in the Kaçanik area, during regular operational patrol.
According to the Police announcement, it is a van without license plates that did not obey the stop orders and during the pursuit, the suspected driver intentionally hit the official Kosovo Police vehicle.
As a result of the collision, three police officers suffered bodily injuries, for which they received medical treatment.
The suspect abandoned the vehicle and fled in an unknown direction into the territory of the Republic of North Macedonia, while the vehicle filled with smuggled goods was confiscated and will be handed over to the Customs of the Republic of Kosovo.
The police announce that the case is being investigated by the relevant units. /Telegraph/
