Ukrainian defense company Fire Point announces plans to open production in Denmark with a focus on solid rocket fuel. The new location near Skrydstrup in Southern Jutland is set to become a site for manufacturing components of Ukraine’s defense industry and its partners.
“Ukraine needs more, and they need it faster. That’s why we can now invite the first Ukrainian defense company to produce products here, in Denmark. This is the first time Ukraine will have an opportunity to establish defense production outside of Ukraine”
– Minister of Defense Troels Lund Poulsen
According to various sources, the new plant will be located not far from the Danish F-35 base, which will open industrial opportunities for the region. It is expected that the project will bring hundreds of new jobs and strengthen the region’s economy through interaction with Ukraine’s defense sector and its partners.
“Fire Point’s production also opens opportunities to create several hundred jobs. Cooperation between the Danish and Ukrainian defense industries will be strengthened, and, more importantly, this will also open avenues for cooperation between the Danish and Ukrainian business communities”
– Danish news outlet
In Denmark, Fire Point is launching the FPRT division. For the Danish market, CVR registration has already been officially obtained, and the launch of the website fprt.dk has been completed. Solid rocket fuel enables fast and stable combustion, which matters for rocket systems, particularly for the “Flamingo,” justifying the country’s strategic interest in such production.
“There is no point in looking for secrets where there are none”
– Iryna Terekh, Fire Point’s technical director
Media reports various messages about possible checks by law enforcement agencies regarding Fire Point; the company denies these allegations, calling them rumors by opponents. It is also known that Fire Point plans to produce up to 9,000 FP-1 drones in 2025, in addition to the rocket component, and to develop joint defense projects with Denmark.
“All of you have basically seen the key details. This is a powerful weapon. Long-range, very powerful. And it exists. These are the details, and we will learn the rest when the proper moment comes”

There have also been reports about possible serial production of Flamingo missiles by Ukrainian defense structures. Ukrainian resources and other sources spoke about possible regulatory and control steps, but no official confirmations from law enforcement agencies have yet been received. Fire Point assures that production in Denmark will strengthen cooperation between countries and open new opportunities for Ukraine’s defense industry.
