Edi Rama unapologetically: Albanians from Albania, North Macedonia, Kosovo are the biggest polluters of tourist spots

The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, today presented the Strategy for the Development of the Tourism Sector.
“What is worth noting is the big growth from France, Germany or the growth from China, India, Brazil or Australia, Turkey or Israel,” he said.
Rama stated that the increase in the number of tourists is no longer the priority, but the increase in quality and the increase in visitors who consume more in Albania. He emphasized the certified tourist guides, which today number 1, the accommodation structures, and the beach administration system.
“We have had zero serious criminal incidents or we have had nearly 70 visits to health centers.”
He announced that the government will soon have a plan for the coast ready and that Ksamil and Dhërmi will be under the control of the municipalities.
Violated beach, that’s how he described the one in Ksamil.
“It is among the most beautiful in the world, and it can no longer be the prey of ignorant people who see it as land to be conquered and to treat tourists as if they were slaves who could even eat the stick of an umbrella on the head. We must heal the violated beaches, take them out of the hands of private individuals. There is no reason for Ksamil to be a private beach, with exorbitant prices and miserable services,” declared the head of government.
“They’ve put up a beach bar that’s driving Himara crazy! Sun loungers where you risk getting pierced by a rusty nail,” he added.
He said that the resizing of public beaches should continue, taking Lezha as an example as the city with the cleanest beaches in the country.
“There should not only be sand, but also service!” said the Prime Minister.
Waste on beaches
Just like yesterday, September 3, he continued with the irony about Albanians who “dump their trash in the most panoramic spots in Albania.”
“We have a radical transformation in waste disposal. However, even if the entire popular army rises to clean up, it won’t be done if, in parallel, you have those who throw away the garbage! Albanian speakers!”
“They are the biggest screamers in the national stadium, who break the chairs in the stadium and turn the matches into wars,” he said of those he considers polluters of Albania.
The cleanup of the waste, he underlined, will be carried out at the national level.
Music will be banned.
“The noise, the din of beach bars, which are set up to stress the world. Entire residential areas where 99.9% of vacationers are not present, have to suffer from the music in the sky. We will stop the music and the number of beach bars will also decrease. We were completely surprised, from beach bar to beach bar!”, declared Rama.
According to the Prime Minister, even Japanese tourists “took the mountain by storm.”
“The Japanese fled and settled down in Theth,” he said.
The green dress
Rama promised the total greening of Albania.
“In all the parts where we have torn it apart and broken it into pieces, forgetting that the beauty and graces of Albania are the greatest asset that has no replicas in hotels that can compete. The luxury of Albania is its beauty, its tradition. By turning nature into an asset to increase the price. We will see it from the national roads. From the creation of nurseries on roadside lands where there is virtually no construction or production to the introduction of nature into the city, public space will have more nature in the city as well.”
Municipal police reform
He declared that every employee of the Municipal Police will be subject to procedures according to standards and criteria certified by the Security Academy or University.
“They have become terrible places. It will not continue like this!” /tvklan.al
