The unemployment rate in North Macedonia fell to 11.5% in the second quarter of 2025 from 12.5% in the same period a year ago.
This was the lowest jobless rate on record, as the number of unemployed persons declined by 7 thousand to 91.4 thousand.
Meanwhile, employment rose to 50.3% from 49.4%, with the number of employed individuals increasing by 9.5 thousand to 700.9 thousand.
The labor force participation rate edged up to 56.9% from 56.4% in the previous year.
