LeAnn Rimes has apparently had some pretty darned good dental work in her time because her teeth look good.

Especially considering she has a bridge in the front.

That is something folks might not know if Rimes didn’t tell it or, perhaps, if they were not at her recent show where her teeth literally fell out. It sounds like kind of a nightmare, but Rimes can laugh about it now. And we know that because she took to social media to share the story earlier this year.

“We’re going to do a little story time about how the show must go on,” the country music star said in a video she shared to Instagram. “And this is the most epic example of how the show must go on.

“So last night, I was onstage in the middle of ‘One Way Ticket,’” she continued. “I feel something pop in my mouth. And if you’ve been around, you know I’ve had a lot of dental surgeries, and I have a bridge in the front. It fell out in the middle of my song last night.”

Rimes said she panicked and then said, ‘hold on’ before running to the side of the stage and popped the bridge back in.

“I just had to get real with everybody and tell them exactly what was happening or else I would have had to walk off stage,” she said. “And so, for the rest of the show, I was literally like this (she made a motion like she was pushing on her teeth) pushing my teeth in like every couple lines and singing.”

Rimes said it “was the most epic experience ever.”

“I don’t usually have firsts in my career,” she said. “That was a first and hopefully a last. I hope my teeth stay in tonight. We shall see.

“The front row, get ready for something to fly out,” she added. “If you catch them please return them.”

Rimes had a good laugh and said she was just “keeping it real.”

“And you know, like I said, there wasn’t a (expletive) thing I could do about it except either walk off or just hold my teeth in,” she said. “So, I just ran with it.”

She said other artists can watch the video and know that the “show can go on in the midst of sheer, utter embarrassment.”
