In 2022, he played Rhett Abbott in the Amazon series Outer Range and had a starring role as Lieutenant Robert “Bob” Floyd in Top Gun: Maverick, which grossed over $1.4 billion at the box office.
You may also recognize him from the 2023 Apple TV+ miniseries Lessons in Chemistry, where he and Brie Larson played a pair of chemists who fall in love amidst the sexist and patriarchal challenges of early 1950s society. The series was based on Bonnie Garmus’ novel of the same title. Up next for Pullman is the highly anticipated Avengers: Doomsday, which will see the Avengers, Wakandans, Fantastic Four, New Avengers and the X-Men teaming up to face Doctor Doom. The film premieres on December 18, 2026.
Pullman has a growing career with plenty more ahead, which is exactly why I’m glad I was able to figure out where else I’ve seen him.
