BETHLEHEM, New Hampshire (WGME) — Five people are sick after drinking from a natural spring in New Hampshire.
The Department of Health and Human Services say they came down with an infection called giardia.
It can lead to symptoms like stomach cramps, bloating, and nausea.
The five people all drank from a spring last month in Bethlehem.
DHHS is urging anyone else who drank from the spring to monitor themselves for symptoms and throw out any water they may have collected from there.
The New Hampshire Department of Environmental Services says they will test water samples from the spring for giardia and other germs.
