Tonight Kosovo faces Sweden

The Kosovo national football team returns to action tonight. The Dardanians will face Sweden at ‘Fadil Vokrri’, as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
Kosovo, in the duel with the Swedes, comes after a loss away to Switzerland (4-0).
Despite the defeat by Switzerland, the atmosphere in our national team’s camp remains good and promising for a dignified performance against Sweden.
Kosovo, even in this duel, will not be able to count on the services of Edon Zhegrova, Milot Rashica and Amir Rrahmani, the latter of whom was injured in the match against Switzerland.
Kosovo coach Franco Foda, in the last press conference before the match against Sweden, expressed confidence that the team will play better than against Switzerland.
The German coach is aware that the Scandinavian national team is the favorite, but he stressed that it is important that Kosovo presents itself differently from that match.
“We have analyzed all the mistakes in the match with Switzerland. We are aware that Switzerland is a strong national team. We were not able to implement our game in that match, but in the second half we played better. I am convinced that against Sweden we will play much better. We are at home and we will try to please the viewers, like in the previous matches that we have won. We have also analyzed the Sweden match, it is a very good team, with quality players. It is clear that Sweden is the favorite, but for me it is important that we play another match”, said Foda.
The match between Kosovo and Sweden starts at 20:45.
