Kosovo U19 triumphs over Albania

Kosovo U19 has scored a victory in the second match within the international tournament in Tirana, organized by the Albanian Football Federation. After the victory over Moldova, Albert Bunjaku’s team also scored a victory over Albania U-19, with a score of 1:0. The winning goal for the DardanĂ«t U19 was scored by Medjen Llumnica in the 74th minute.
Coach Bunjaku started the match with this lineup: Lindsay Gutaj, Floni Selimi, Medjen Llumnica, Rinor Rexhepi, Engjell Krasniqi, Albert Rrahmani, Omer Bajraktari, Endrit Hasanmetaj, Valon Cena, Rin Ahmeti and Fatjon Haxhiu. Meanwhile, the following players were also included in the game: Reis Paci, Diart Gashi, Leart Salihu, Leandro Maksutaj, Gentian Dushaj, Arlind Qela, Omer Shala, Erion Hoti, Melvin Hoxha, Anik Vitija.
The two matches within this tournament served the coaching staff to assess the players’ condition and to prepare the team as best as possible for next month’s qualifying matches.
“I am satisfied with the result, while with the game with and without the ball only partially. I think we have taken a good step forward. Everything is not yet as I want, but I think we are well prepared for the qualifying matches. I want to thank my staff and the boys for the commitment, time and energy shown in these two matches”, declared selector Albert Bunjaku.
The young Dardanians are in Group 12 of the European qualifiers along with Norway, Germany and Armenia. The matches will take place in Norway on 8, 11 and 14 October 2025.
