The body of a 73-year-old man was discovered inside his burned home in the village of Emmanouil Pappas, east of Serres in northern Greece, after a fire broke out on Monday.
Firefighters, alerted to the incident, arrived at the scene to find the blaze already extinguished and the man’s body in a charred state.
