The Suzanne portal made a few months ago interesting interview with one of the most famous Kosovar footballers, Vedat Muriqi, a Real Mallorca player, and an important scorer for our national team who scored a super goal against Sweden.
- So Vedat, the first question is the most important: Spanish paella or Elbasan tava?
Oh, that’s easy. Elbasan casserole to death!!!
– You are a great team player, but if you were in a band, what instrument would you play and what would your band be called?
I think the drums and the band were named after my nickname: Los Piratas 😂
– If you were a superhero, what would be your special power in football?
I had a lot of fun and then super physical strength.
– Do you have any pre-match rituals that you haven’t told anyone?
Actually, no, but I can say that I drink a lot of water. If I don’t drink a lot of water, I feel like something will go wrong during the game.
– Albanian Riviera or a beach in Spain?
Beach in Spain (sorry for this, but I have to be honest) ❤️
– Spanish and Albanian music both have energy and liveliness. Do you have a favorite song from each country that you listen to before a game?
In Albanian I can say that I listen to Yll Limani’s song with Dafina Zeqiri “Jom ka du met pas”, while in Spanish I listen to a lot of Spanish reggaeton before the match.
– In both Spain and Kosovo, family is very important. What is the best advice your family gave you before coming to play in Spain?
I’m lucky that they always support me. Especially my wife. She is the first one who suffers because of my work! But she always told me: “If you feel and believe that a decision will be good for you, just go ahead and do what you want! Follow your instinct!” I really appreciate that kind of support from her. ❤️❤️❤️
– Speaks many languages. What is your favorite word of anger when playing football in Albanian, Spanish, Turkish and English?

In Albanian it is: “T’i q”deletebt”, in Spanish: “With cgo to the park”ta”, in Turkish: “Amna ko”im”. In English? I believe it’s: “What a shame”. 😂
– Which of the players on your team in Spain could never learn Albanian dance?
Ugh, many of them wouldn’t be able to do our steps. If I start mentioning them by name, I’ll have to write down half the team.
- Is it better here or there?
It’s always the hometown! ❤️ But you forgot the other question that usually comes up: “When did you arrive? And when are you leaving?” 😂
Bonus question (we had to ask): So, Ronaldo or Messi?
