Serbia faces protests – Vučić invites actor Steven Seagal, Putin’s friend, after Jackie Chan

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has announced another meeting with a Hollywood actor, following the one with Jackie Chan. This time, Vučić hosted the actor Steven Seagal.
Vučić said that he and Seagal discussed opportunities for strengthening cultural and artistic cooperation.
“During a cordial and friendly conversation with Steven Seagal, we discussed opportunities for strengthening cultural and artistic cooperation, as well as ways through which Serbia can be further promoted on the international stage. We also talked about possible joint projects in the field of cinematography, media partnerships and the promotion of investments in the cultural industry,” Vučić wrote.
Furthermore, the Serbian president expressed gratitude to the actor for the love that the latter, according to the Serbian leader, has shown towards Serbia.
“I expressed my gratitude to Mr. Sigal for the love he has shown towards Serbia and his willingness to use his fame and reputation to affirm our country in the world. His commitment to considering Serbia as a second homeland for us constitutes a great honor and a responsibility to work together in strengthening cultural and humanitarian projects,” Vučić added.
Finally, the Serbian president said that the country he leads will always be open to artists from all over the world.
“Serbia will always be open to artists and friends from all over the world. I believe that such meetings help spread the positive image of our country and build bridges of friendship, cooperation and mutual respect,” he wrote.
Otherwise, actor Steven Seagal is also known as a person who has close relations with Russian leader Vladimir Putin.
