The Kosovo Security Force has announced that within the framework of bilateral cooperation with the Republic of Albania and the Republic of Turkey, the “Advanced Urban Search and Rescue” training is being conducted at the International Search and Rescue Training Center of the National Guard, with the participation of troops from the Armed Forces of the Republic of Albania, the Armed Forces of the Republic of Turkey and the KSF.
This training covers topics related to the preparation and training of trainees for response to natural and human disasters, such as: planning, development of individual tasks as search-rescuers in an urban disaster, teamwork in rescue operations, use of adequate equipment, application of restraints, provision of first aid in urban disasters, etc.
“This training is a continuation of important cooperation towards increasing capacities for response to urban emergency situations and strengthens interaction between the three countries. Albania, Turkey, Kosovo,” the press release states, among other things. /Telegrafi/
