The Alliance for Albanians, the wing of Arben Taravari, expresses deep concern about the continuous interventions of the so-called “Serbian World” in North Macedonia. This political concept, built on the model of the “Russian World”, is not just a symbolic game, but a genuine project that aims to undermine existing borders, weaken statehood and hinder the European future of our country and the entire region.

“Instead of learning from the clear warnings of the European Parliament Report, official Skopje has allowed this agenda to gain momentum. The signing of the memorandum between the Pension Fund of North Macedonia and that of Republika Srpska, which represents an entity that openly challenges the sovereignty of Bosnia and Herzegovina, is a clear example of how our institutions are being drawn into networks that endanger regional stability. Likewise, MEPSO’s strategic contracts with Serbian companies for key energy network projects raise serious doubts about energy dependence and the compromise of our national security.

This strategy extends even further: through the hotel chain, the banking system, telecommunications and Serbian television, the intervention becomes comprehensive and sustainable, creating structural dependencies that go beyond normal economic relations. Meanwhile, the involvement of Serbian officials in political and cultural activities in the country, such as the recent case of Milorad Dodik’s participation in Skopje at the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister Ivan Stoilković, clearly shows that this project is no longer hidden: it is open, direct and anti-European.

The appearance of paramilitary groups wearing red berets in cities in North Macedonia is also alarming, as it constitutes a dangerous signal for the order and security of citizens. Serbia is clearly emerging as a proxy state for Russia in the region, using soft and hard instruments to influence our strategic decision-making.

“All this is happening under a government that not only does not protect the country from this influence, but often legitimizes and reinforces it. OBRM-PDUKM, with its coalition partners VLEN and ZNAM, instead of defending the national interest, present themselves as the protagonists of these developments, opening the door to a dangerous agenda for the stability and Euro-Atlantic perspective of North Macedonia,” say the ASH.

They add that the country’s European and Euro-Atlantic orientation is non-negotiable./Telegraph/
