Serbia in protests, Vucic says army parade will be held on Saturday, was it inspired by China?

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić has announced a meeting with the Minister of Defense, the Chief of the Army and the Deputy Minister of Defense.

He said that on Saturday, the citizens of Serbia will have the opportunity to see “a strong army.”

“Final preparations are underway for the military parade,” he wrote.

Serbia has faced months of anti-government protests, and earlier this month Vučić participated in a military parade in Beijing.
