After the furore caused by the detention of rapper Mozzik by Kosovo Customs for his luxury watch, the situation seems to be taking new developments.
His lawyer, Arianit Koci, has again posted on social media, expressing concerns about arbitrariness and the lack of legal certainty.
Meanwhile, legal proceedings and investigations regarding the case are continuing, although it remains to be seen how this situation will play out.
The full statement by lawyer Koci, published on Facebook, is this:
“There is no legal certainty in Kosovo. No one is safe.”
I am finally convinced about Mozzik’s case!
Moreover, travelers are selectively checked at airport customs. Hundreds pass through every day with expensive watches on their wrists and valuable personal belongings – without being stopped. But Mozzik was stopped.
Do you say why?
Who decides who to check and who to let pass? Who decides whose personal watch to take away and whose not? This arbitrariness is the very essence of the lack of rule of law.
More – in the coming days!
After the meeting at Kosovo Customs, a group of hardworking and honest men who worked nearby invited us to their break: bread, salt, and heart.
Mozzik and I accepted with pleasure.
“The best lunch of the year – without a doubt.” /Telegraph/
