A Kosovo citizen, with the initials AM, aged 57, died in a traffic accident in the town of Bezdan, on the Podgorica – Kolashin road.
AM had been driving a tow truck with Kosovo license plates when it tragically ended up in the Moraça River last night. His body, as reported by the Montenegrin media “Vijesti”, was recovered today.
“According to the prosecutor’s order, the body has been sent to the Pathology Department of the Clinical Center for autopsy. The cause of the accident will be determined during the investigation,” said Maja Scepanovic, head of the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office in Kolasin.
Last night at around 22:00 PM, the Montenegrin police were reported to have an accident between tunnels 11 and 12 in Platia.
The competent service teams went to the scene, but were subsequently unable to remove the tow truck due to nighttime conditions.
