The average monthly net salary in Croatia stood at €1,437 in July, according to data from the Croatian Bureau of Statistics (DZS). Compared to July last year, this is a nominal increase of 9.3 percent and a real rise of five percent.
On a monthly level, however, salaries slipped slightly, down 0.5 percent nominally and 0.9 percent in real terms compared to June.
The highest average salary was recorded in air transport, reaching €2,353, while the lowest was in clothing manufacturing, at €937. The median net salary in July was €1,249—meaning half of employees earned less than this amount, and half more.
Meanwhile, the average gross salary came to €2,000, 9.8 percent higher than in July 2024.
