Hello to everyone,

I would like to make a birthday surprise for one of my best friends and I really need your help.

He is an architect and sent to Lego Ideas a project on Yugoslav Kiosk K67-a small modular fiber construction that has become a 20th-century design icon. If you grow up in the former Yugoslavia (or even in other parts of Europe), you will definitely remember them: these kiosks were everywhere-buying newspapers, flowers, ice cream, and often transformed into small hot or fast food places. Sasha created in the late 60s. The K67 was produced in series and exported by Makhtich, and today it is considered a classic.

A friend of mine made this part of this story into a LEGO. He currently has a 7K supporter, but 10K is needed to consider LEGO at all-and only 194 days are left. If 10K does not assemble, they will not even open the project.

This means a lot to him – and also for me and those around him, including his wife and little daughter. The whole heart was put in this project-two exhibitions had already arranged in Belgrade on K67 and were invited to television. But despite all this passion and effort, the number of votes slows down. I hear – K67 is a pretty “local” idea, not such as global, such as castles or spacecraft.

That’s why I’m writing here. I know that reaching 10K meant for him to the whole universe. Even if LEGO will refuse, achieving this goal will be a huge recognition. But if it fails, I know that it will be very disappointed – as if all efforts, exhibitions, and interviews are overlooked.

It’s just one click, but it can mean one year (or even a whole life!).

Thank you very much! And who knows – maybe you will ever appear on the shelves of LEGO stores. ❤️

– A friend

PS I am from Serbia and yes, this text with the help of Chatgpt is translated into Georgian! 🙂
