Jevan Bouzo will step down at the end of 2025 as COO Jennifer Gray has been appointed as interim leader.

Viva Energy has announced that Jevan Bouzo, CEO of its Convenience and Mobility (C&M) division, will step down at the end of 2025 after a decade with the company.

The energy and retail group confirmed it will begin searching for a permanent successor with significant retail experience, as reported by Convenience and Impulse Retailing. In the meantime, Group COO Jennifer Gray has been appointed Interim C&M CEO to support the retail leadership team, while Group CEO Scott Wyatt will oversee the continued execution of the company’s retail strategy.

To strengthen governance during the transition, independent non-executive director John Joyce will chair a new Retail Board Sub-Committee providing additional guidance and oversight. Viva Energy also emphasized that its outlook and strategic priorities, as outlined in its 2025 Half Year Results, remain unchanged.

Wyatt praised Bouzo’s contributions over the past ten years, including his leadership roles as Group CFO, COO, and most recently as head of the C&M division. “He led the acquisition of Coles Express, OTR Group, and Liberty Convenience to establish the largest convenience retail business in Australia,” Wyatt said, noting that Bouzo’s resignation comes after the completion of major integration milestones.

Reflecting on his tenure, Bouzo said leading the C&M business for the past three years had been “a privilege.” He highlighted Viva Energy’s network, customer reach, and team achievements in serving more than three million customers per week. “I am committed to supporting a smooth transition and will remain a passionate customer,” he added.
