In Albania, Kosovo, and the diaspora, in less than a week, journalist Mira Kazhani’s book “Another Day…”, a powerful emotional story about coping with cancer, has broken all records in terms of reader interest.

In Germany, the novel titled “ë” by writer Jehona Kicaj has been shortlisted for the 2025 German Book Prize. This is the greatest success of an author originally from Kosovo in the German-speaking literary space.

Ledia Xhoga, born in Tirana and currently living in New York, has been shortlisted for the prestigious Booker Prize 2025 with her novel “Misunderstanding”.

Vjosa Musliu, professor of international relations at the Vrije University in Brussels, has published an impressive book (“Girlhood at War”) by the American publishing house “Bloomsbury Publishing”, which includes her memories during the years of Serbian repression in Kosovo in the 1990s, the war, the liberation and the entry of NATO troops.

Philosopher Lea Ypi, after her much-discussed book “Free”, has published a new book: “Humiliated – Surviving in the Age of Extremes”. Another family saga. Currently, all the major Western media are writing about this book – some with positive tones, others are more reserved. (Enver Robelli)
