Kosovo Philharmonic opens new season with solemn concert

The Kosovo Philharmonic will open the 2025/2026 season with a solemn concert, organized to mark the 25th anniversary of its founding.
The concert will be held on Friday, September 26, 2025, from 19:30 PM at the Atelier of the Palace of Youth and Sports in Pristina.
The Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, in collaboration with the Kosovo Opera Choir, will present a program with two works by Kosovar composer Mendi Mengjiqi: “Symphonic Pain” and the oratorio “Homagium Matri Teresiae”.
The concert will be conducted by the Polish Wojciech Czepiel, with a cast of extraordinary soloists from Kosovo and Poland: Adelina Paloja, soprano; Ewa Menaszek, mezzo-soprano; Piotr Kalina, tenor; Grzegorz Szostak, bass.
Doors open at 18:45 p.m.
