The State Statistical Office (SSSO) has published the latest data on the average monthly salary in North Macedonia for July 2025, reports Telegraph Macedonia.
According to published figures, the average net salary paid was 45.276 denars, while the gross salary reached 68.102 denars. Compared to the same month last year, there was an increase in salaries, which is due to increases in several key sectors.
“In July 2025, the average net monthly salary paid was 45.276 denars, while the average gross monthly salary paid was 68.102 denars,” ESHS announced.
In July 2025, compared to July 2024, the average monthly net salary paid to employees is 10.5% higher.
This increase is mainly due to the increase in the average monthly net salary per employee in the sectors: Administrative and support service activities by 16.5%, Education by 15.0% and Health and social work activities by 14.8%.
A decrease in the average monthly net salary per employee, compared to the previous month, was recorded in the sectors: Financial activities and insurance by 4.0%, Mining and quarrying by 3.3% and Information and communication by 3.0%.
