The Secretary General of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK), Vlora Çitaku, has expressed her conviction that former President Hashim Thaçi will return to Kosovo in the spring of 2026.
Speaking at a PDK electoral event in Drenas, Çitaku emphasized that Thaçi’s return would be an important moment not only for the party, but also for its supporters.
“I am more convinced than ever that Hashim Thaçi will be in Kosovo in the spring of next year. It would be the greatest pleasure for me and for every member of the PDK to enable Hashim Thaçi to visit the mayor of Drenas, the mayor from the PDK, Petrit Hajdari,” Çitaku said to his supporters, while introducing the candidate for mayor of this municipality.
Her statement came as part of the election campaign, where PDK is presenting its candidates in various municipalities across the country.
