Haradinaj criticizes Kurti: His behavior is a danger for Kosovo, Serbia ready to take advantage

The leader of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ramush Haradinaj, has held Prime Minister Albin Kurti responsible for the US decision to halt strategic cooperation with Kosovo, warning of current and future risks for the country.

“The culprit for the isolation in Kosovo and the consequences it is causing is Mr. Kurti, who is exercising his duties illegally,” said Haradinaj.

Haradinaj stressed that the problems of the situation in Kosovo should not be denied or neglected, but neither should we lose faith in moving forward. He emphasized that the risks are numerous and, according to him, come as a result of Kurti’s political behavior.

“America has not stopped the strategic dialogue with Kosovo because of Kurti’s bad behavior with a certain subject, as America has brought security everywhere in Kosovo. But it seems clear that the situations we will go through will be exploited by our opportunists like Serbia,” Haradinaj told Euronews Albania.

Haradinaj warned that Serbia is hoping for a “green light” or a blind eye from Kosovo’s allies, which could allow them to operate against the country.

“We must work carefully so that the security institutions of America and our allies understand the cunning of Serbia, which is known to be a proxy of Russia. I am interested in Serbia being in NATO one day, as the guarantees would be greater for us,” he added.

Haradinaj directly blamed Prime Minister Albin Kurti for the isolation of Kosovo and the consequences it is causing for the country.
