President Gordana Siljanovska-Davkova delivered a speech today at the annual meeting of the countries participating in the “Brdo-Brion Process”, which was held in DurrĂ«s, Republic of Albania.

Pointing out the instability of the Western Balkans’ long wait at the gates of Brussels, due to the urgent need to expand the EU with all European countries in order to strengthen its role, as well as to increase resistance to third-party influences, Siljanovska-Davkova emphasized that it is cynicism and hypocrisy to ask someone to be resistant to third-party influences, leaving them at the gates of the European Union.

The President emphasized that this year, unlike last year, the Declaration was adopted by consensus of the leaders of the countries participating in the “Brdo-Brion Process”.

For him, cooperation is necessary to solve common problems, such as: the exodus of youth, the risk of economic stagnation, and overcoming security challenges.

“I believe in goodwill, I believe in good intentions, I believe in the commitment of Croatia and Slovenia to the process and their special responsibility towards the region and its accelerated progress towards the EU,” emphasized Siljanovska-Davkova.
The initiators of the “Brdo-Brion Process” are the Republic of Croatia and the Republic of Slovenia. In addition to us, the process also includes: the Republic of Montenegro, the Republic of Serbia, the Republic of Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Kosovo./Telegraph/
