Travellers from Slovakia will soon be able to take advantage of a new low-cost air connection. From 25 December 2025, Wizz Air will begin operating a regular service between Poprad-Tatry Airport, eastern Slovakia, and the Polish coastal city of Gdańsk.
Flights will run twice weekly, on Thursdays and Sundays, as part of the winter schedule. Tickets are already available on the airline’s official website and mobile app, with one-way fares starting at just €14.99.
According to Poprad Airport, the new route has been designed to benefit travellers in both directions – bringing Polish visitors to the Tatras for skiing and hiking, while offering Slovak passengers easy access to the Baltic Sea and one of Poland’s most vibrant seaside regions.
The service will be operated by a modern Airbus A321neo, with a flight time of around 80 minutes. Wizz Air already operates flights from Poprad to London, and the new route further strengthens the airport’s growing network of international connections.
