The Kosovo Philharmonic and Opera present a special concert, “Beethoven 255”

In celebration of the 255th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth and the 200th anniversary of the premiere performance of the 9th Symphony, the Kosovo Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir, in collaboration with the Kosovo Opera Choir, present a special concert on October 9, 2025, from 19:30 PM, in the Red Hall of the Youth Palace.
This program will also feature the Choral Fantasy, another magnificent work by the same composer, bringing together two extraordinary works by the classical genius in one night.
Under the direction of conductor Toshio Yanagisawa, the 9th Symphony will feature soloists: Zana Abazi-Ramadani, soprano, Olga Podgornaya, mezzo-soprano, Denis Skura, tenor, Ivo Yordanov, baritone.
Meanwhile, in the Choral Fantasy, the well-known Kosovar pianist Lule Elezi is presented as the piano soloist, and the vocal soloists: Elonë Sadiku, soprano, Arta Jashari, soprano, Diellza Sylejmani, alto, Rizah Jahaj, tenor, Etrit Nura, tenor, Harris Bajraktari, bass
The choirs for this concert were prepared by conductor Hajrullah Syla.
