The coach of the Albanian national team, Sylvinho, spoke to the media at a press conference.
Sylvinho spoke before the match that the “red and blacks” are playing against Serbia as part of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.
He said that the match against Serbia is important, describing it as a “beautiful match.”
“All matches are important, but now is the most important match against Serbia. It is a beautiful match, just like we saw in Tirana against this opponent,” he said initially.
He also added that the entire team is ready, while saying that he is not worried about the lack of goals.
“All the players have been ready in training, we have trained as a team, the lack of goals doesn’t worry me, I have confidence in all the players, tomorrow we will choose the formation,” he added.
Further, he responded to the Serbian coach, who said he knows Albania’s game.
“We also know the Serbian team, we also know how they will play, I won’t say about every surprise they will get, I will leave a surprise,” said Sylvinho.
Sylvinho added by saying that he cannot give a percentage for victory tomorrow, as football is unpredictable.
“Football is unpredictable, I have had a career of several years as a player, and I also have a career of several years as a coach, I cannot say that a match is won without entering the field. In Tirana, it was seen that both national teams were there and there. In football, everything happens in 90 minutes. Our players will enter the field with a big heart,” said Sylvinho.
